When will the conference take place? Where is it located?

The 1st Graduate Students Conference CSD will take place on October 25th, 2019 at the Computer Science Dept. of the University of Crete in Heraklion, Greece.

How can I register to attend the conference?

You can register to attend the conference using this registration form. Certificate will be provided to each participant on the completion of the conference. Deadline for registrations: October 10th, 2019

You can register for a presentation using this registration form. Deadline for presentation/poster applications: September 8th, 2019

Do I have to be a MSc or PhD student to attend?

No. All undergraduate and graduate students of CSD are more than welcome to attend.

Do I have to be a MSc or PhD student to do a presentation?

Yes. This conference is run by the Graduate Students' Association of Computer Science Dept., Univ. of Crete and currently accepts only presentation proposals by the graduate students of the Dept.

How do I get there? (means of transportation)

For those who would like to use public transportation, they can take bus line "PAGNI-University" No. 11 (Second stop in Univ.) or bus line "FORTH" No. 8 (First stop in Univ.). For more information (e.g. bus schedule etc) see here

What is the purpose of the event?

The main purpose of the conference is the presentation of the ongoing research work of the graduate students of CSD, that belong to different fields in Computer Science, and the diffusion of knowledge from the state-of-the-art techniques developed by them. By doing so, we are building a stronger community.

Should I register as an attendee?

YES. The conference is organized based on a capacity of people that registered, which is why we highly recommend for all people who would like to attend to register on time.
